Manufacturers Handbook Service

Something most dealers fail to mention about your new car is that you don’t need to have your new car serviced by your dealer to maintain warranty.

Having your vehicle serviced by The Entrance Motors will NOT void your warranty.

• We strictly follow all the procedures recommended by your vehicles manufacturer.
• We only use high quality service parts.
• It’s your car and you DO have a choice.

Servicing your car includes the following:

•         Check all oil levels, exhaust system, pipes & hoses.
•         Check radiator, heater and air conditioner, damage & wear.
•         Inspect front and rear brakes for wear.
•         Replace engine oil & filter.
•         Inspect all fluid levels, tyre conditions & pressures & spare.
•         Inspect battery electrolyte level and specific gravity.
•         Inspect steering and suspension, security, damage and wear.
•         Inspect drive belt condition and adjust if required.

Once your service is complete, we will stamp your vehicle’s handbook as a record of regular maintenance. This can be very important when it comes to achieving a higher resale value for your car.  Also the cost of your service will be less than that of most dealers.
Pricing:

For a regular service we charge No More Than $120.

However if examination of the vehicle reveals the need to replace any parts not covered by the service, or if it is a Diesel, imported or 4WD car it may mean extra costs. We will contact you before any further repairs are done.

How To Check Your Cars Oil

You should always check your tyres with a quick inspection to ensure they are not flat before driving.

If you do have a flat tyre you will need to change it before driving for your safety.

Do I Need a RTA E-inspection (Pink Slip)

esafety150x150

Since 1 July 2008, e-Safety Check has replaced the traditional paper-based inspection scheme (pink slips). All Authorised Inspection Stations now transmit the inspection report to the RTA electronically.

By transmitting e-Safety Check inspection results electronically to the RTA, you can renew your registration online with myRego or over the phone.

Vehicles more than five years old will require a safety inspection as a condition of registration renewal. Your registration renewal notice will advise if your vehicle needs an inspection.

If your vehicle requires an inspection and you wish to renew your registration, you need to get an e-Safety Check first.

An e-Safety Check (formerly known as pink slip) is valid for 42 days from the date of issue.

The Entrance Motors can do a e-safety check while you wait. This service takes around 15 minutes.
